A sentencing hearing for a former Bryan resident, accused of trying to hire a hitman to kill a Williams County Job & Family Services employee, is postponed. David Culver, the Fountain, Florida man, pled guilty in November 2019 to one count of use of interstate commerce facilities in the commission of murder for hire…due to a tight schedule in light of COVID-19-related fallout, the hearing was pushed back to Sept. 23. Since pleading guilty, Culver has filed lawsuits against Bryan Police…CCNO and Williams County officials, alleging harassment and other types of mistreatment and misconduct.
