Darlene “Rose” Lands, age 63, of Edgerton, Ohio, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by family on November 2, 2016. Rose was born February 27, 1953, in London, Ohio to the late Denford Wilson and Mary Caldwell Burgett.
Rose was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Rose married the love of her life, William “Mike” Lands in 1970. She and Mike were married forty-six years and raised four children.
She is survived by her loving husband, Mike Lands; children, Jimmy (Shannon) Lands, Robin (Aaric) Blattner, Michael (Shay) Lands, Amy (Shannon) Underwood; three sisters, Joyce (Ralph) Stout, Catherine Cox, Diana (Jim) Potter; four brothers, Kenneth (Drema) Wilson, Donnie (Lisa) Wilson, Kenny Burgett, Bryan (Heidi) Burgett; sixteen grandchildren, five great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Tina Burgett.
Rose’s family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m.-2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 5, 2016, at Krill Funeral Home in Bryan, Ohio with a memorial service starting at 2:00 p.m. Immediately following the service, a celebration of life dinner will be held at New Life Worship Center, 14451 County Rd C, Bryan, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to Visiting Nurses and Hospice of Williams and Fulton Counties.
