Deadly Accident On 24

One person dies in a solo crash, northeast of Evansport, on County Road 24. Officials tell reporters the vehicle slid off the left side of the roadway, near U.S. 6 and got stuck in the ditch. A fire starts…as the driver tries to get the SUV out of the ditch. The flames engulf the vehicle. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. State and local investigators are going over the case, at this hour.
