Deadly Crash In Swanton

A Swanton man dies after a head-on collision on N. Main Street. The Highway Patrol is investigating after a van, driven by 60-year-old Peter Nagan was traveling north on North Main, when it traveled left of center and struck head-on, a vehicle driven by Elizabeth Hauenstein of Toledo. Nagan was taken to St. Luke’s Hospital, where he died. Hauenstein is in an area hospital under observation at this hour. Officials tell reporters they suspect Nagan had some sort of medical condition, leading to the accident.
