Deadly Crash Near Angola

A Wolcottville man dies in a motorcycle crash on West Fox Lake Road, west of Angola. Officials tell reporters James Dameron missed a turn…veered off the roadway, smashing into a pole. Dameron was pronounced dead at the scene. Excessive speed is not believed to be a factor, however alcohol use is suspected. Toxicology results are pending with the Steuben County Coroner’s office. The crash remains under investigation.
