Deadly Crash Near Bryan

A three car crash on Highway 6, at County Road 23 kills two people. A third person is at an area hospital at this hour. Witnesses told officers a sedan was heading west on 6 when the driver made a turn onto 23. There, the vehicle was rear ended by a tractor trailer. From there, the semi skids into the oncoming lane, hitting an SUV, head on. One person in the SUV died instantly. The other died later after transport to the hospital. The driver of the first car hit is okay…the semi operator was taken to Community Hospitals in Bryan with a broken arm. The roadway was closed for several hours.
