Deadly Crash On 20

One motorcyclist dies…another is hurt…after a crash in Gorham Township, on U.S. 20 near milepost 6. The Ohio State Highway Patrol says the motorcycle, driven by Michael Vanbarg of McClure…and another bike, ridden by Robert Adlington of Toledo, were eastbound…when both go off the right side of the roadway…into a ditch. Both drivers were ejected. Adlington was flown to Mercy St. Vincent’s in Toledo, where he later died. Vanbarg was taken to the Fulton County Health Center in Wauseon, where he was treated for minor injuries and released. Neither wore a helmet. Investigators say alcohol was a contributing factor in the crash.
