A Fayette resident dies in a house fire on S. Cherry St. Fire crews arrived to find the single-story home well involved and with a possible occupant inside the structure. No word on a cause. An investigation by state and local officials is underway at this hour. Fire teams from Wauseon, Archbold and Alvordton assisted in the firefighting operation.
