Deadly Housefire In Edgerton

One person dies in a house fire in Edgerton. The blaze, on W. Vine St., was reported by one of Edgerton’s own firefighters who lived next door. Crews found their first hydrant frozen shut. And the second. The home was a total loss. Two others survived with severe burns. The state fire marshal’s office was on the scene…the cause of the blaze has yet to be determined and remains under investigation.
