Deel Faces Charges

A Continental man is booked after refusing officers’ orders to leave a Bryan residence…while brandishing a weapon. Mark Deel, 39, was at a Haver Drive address…when the home’s owner calls Bryan police and asked to have Deel removed. Officers say Deel held a box cutter knife in an aggressive manner toward officers and failed to comply with orders, resulting in the use of a stun gun to subdue him. They add Deel had also barricaded himself in a room of the home at some point during the encounter. None of the officers were hurt. Deel was checked for injuries at a local hospital and was then taken to the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio.
