Defiance County man plans appeal of murder conviction

A Defiance County man convicted last month in a double homicide case in Paulding County said he plans to appeal his case. 43 year old Bradley Gillespie of Ashpacher Road, Defiance, was found guilty of two counts of murder, each with a gun specification on Sept. 30, in Paulding County Common Pleas Court. The charges stem from the deaths of Paulding residents 21 year old Hannah Fischer and 47 year old Frank Tracy Jr. Gillespie will be sentenced for those crimes at 9 a.m. this morning. Under the Ohio Revised Code, there is a mandatory sentence of 15 years to life on each count with a one-year mandatory sentence for each gun specification.
