Defiance Court Hears Several Cases

A Defi­ance man was in Defi­ance County Court to answer to two methamphetamine-related charges. 21 year old

Schuy­lar Win­kler pleaded guilty to aggra­vated pos­ses­sion of drugs and ille­gal assem­bly or pos­ses­sion of chem­i­cals for the man­u­fac­ture of drugs, both felonies. A pre-sentence inves­ti­ga­tion was ordered and Winkler’s $500,000 cash bond with a 10 per­cent allowance pro­vi­sion was con­tin­ued. Sen­tenc­ing is now set for June 29. Also, 28 year old Char­lotte Holt was in Defi­ance County Court, where she pleaded not guilty to ille­gal man­u­fac­ture of drugs, ille­gal assem­bly or pos­ses­sion of chem­i­cals for the man­u­fac­ture of drugs, and three counts of endan­ger­ing chil­dren… all felonies. A pre­trial hear­ing was sched­uled for June 30 and bond was set at $250,000 cash with a 10 per­cent allowance provision.
