DEFIANCE MAN CHARGED WITH RAPE

A man from Defi­ance has been charged with rap­ing an under­age girl in Put­nam County.

18 year old Don­ald Schulte faces a first-degree felony charge for allegedly com­mit­ting the act back in Decem­ber in Ottawa with a girl about 15 years old. The indict­ments were recently handed up by a Put­nam County grand jury.

Schulte also was charged with a first-degree mis­de­meanor count of unlaw­ful sex­ual con­duct with a minor, in con­nec­tion with the same incident.
