Edger­ton Vil­lage Coun­cil on Mon­day accepted a new vil­lage employee.

The pro­ba­tion­ary period for Vil­lage Admin­is­tra­tor Kevin Brooks is over and coun­cil voted to place Brooks on per­ma­nent sta­tus.

In other news, The Bryan Times reports that the offi­cial move-in date into the new Edger­ton vil­lage hall will be April 8th. And in still more news out of Edger­ton, the Mayor reported on Mon­day that the vil­lage is run­ning about $15,000 ahead of 2012’s first quar­ter income tax collections.
