Defiance man found guilty of two counts of murder

It took a jury a little more than three hours on Friday to find 42 year old Bradley Gillespie of Defiance, guilty of two counts of murder with a gun specification. The charges stem from the deaths of Paulding residents Hannah Fischer and Frank Tracy Jr. Following the verdict, Gillespie’s bond was revoked. Sentencing will be in the next two weeks. Under the Ohio Revised Code, there is a mandatory sentence of 15 years to life on each count with a one year mandatory sentenced for the gun specification. The court sentencing will determine if those sentences will be served consecutively or concurrently. Gillespie’s attorneys have 30 days after the sentence entry is entered to file an appeal.
