Defiance Police Department is seeking information on an crash

The Defiance Police Department is seeking information on an crash involving a pedestrian that occurred Tuesday morning. According to police, the crash occurred at approximately 9:39 a.m. at the intersection of North Clinton Street and West Sessions Avenue when a pedestrian, who police did not identify, was struck by a white Ford pick-up truck, possibly an F-250 model, with an Ohio license plate. The truck fled the scene and was last seen traveling southbound on north Clinton Street. The pedestrian was transported by Defiance Fire Department to ProMedica Defiance Regional Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries. Officials are asking anyone who may have information regarding the vehicle and driver involved the crash to contact the police department at 419-784-5050.
