A PowerPoint presentation on the new grades 6-12 building, currently under construction along Palmer Drive highlighted the Defiance City Board of Education meeting. Project Manager, Bryan Risner says crews have 117 work days to complete the project. Nearly 600 students, grades 6-8 and over 800 in grades 9-12, will take over the new facility. Following a bidding process at year’s end, demolition of the current high school is slated to get underway in March 2018.
