Defiance’s loss is Napoleon’s gain, as Defi­ance Stamp­ing, which has called Defi­ance home since 1928, is mov­ing to fac­tory and office space in Napoleon. The com­pany took out a long term lease on the build­ing located off US 24 and will ask Napoleon for a small incen­tive deal to help cover the cost of the move since they are bring­ing jobs to town. Accord­ing to the Defi­ance Eco­nomic Devel­op­ment Office Defi­ance Stamp­ing needed a cer­tain size exist­ing build­ing and needed it now.
