Delta Woman Pled Guilty

A woman from Delta pled guilty Tuesday to the attempted murder of her own son.

Fulton County Prosecutors say 57 year old Candis Sherman pled guilty to attempted aggravated murder with a firearm specification in connection with a shooting last July at Sherman’s home when a 15-year-old boy was flown to a Toledo hospital.

A presentence investigation is underway before sentencing.

Meanwhile, Sherman remains held at the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio and faces a possible sentence of up to 14 years in prison.
