Dennis Is Fired

The Corrections Commission okays the firing of Jim Dennis, the executive director of the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio. Lucas County Commissioner, Pete Gerken moved to terminate Dennis immediately…citing Dennis lost the confidence of the panel. The action was passed unanimously. In April, the commission placed Dennis on administrative leave as it initiated an internal investigation. No details have been released.
