Deputy Hit In SC Accident

A Steuben County deputy is alright after he is hit by a pickup while assisting with traffic control at that crash scene on State Road 120. They say Gary Thompson of Middleton wasn’t paying attention at the time of the crash. He was not injured. The officer sustained minor injuries and was checked out at the scene, and then released. Thompson was cited for disregarding a traffic control officer. This, as the investigation into the accident continues by both state and local officials at this hour.
