DeWitt Faces Assault Charges

An area man is accused of injuring a child. Investigators say Keagan DeWitt hurt the Delaware Bend minor. At this hour, the victim is at Toledo Children’s hospital, under observation. The police were called to the Flickinger Road home to find the child unresponsive. DeWitt appeared in Defiance Municipal Court by way of a video feed. Another court date is set for this week.
