Diven Heads To Sentencing Phase

A Cecil woman…accused of forcing her way into a female acquaintance’s home during a dispute concerning a man…pleads guilty in a Paulding County courtroom. Jodie Diven faces assault charges. Judge, Tiffany Beckman ordered a pre-sentence investigation and continued Diven’s bond. Sentencing was scheduled for Feb. 1st. Prosecutors say back on June 4th…Diven forced her way into the County Road 151 home of Maxine Buell, stealing a telephone and cellphone…while threatening her with a rifle.
