Drive-by shooting injures passenger

A drive-by shooting late last week about two miles north of Fayette injured one person. A car driver reported that an SUV pulled up alongside them at a stop sign on Morenci Rd. and shot through the back seat on the driver’s side, hitting a passenger. The victim was shot in the arm, the person’s name has not been released. The sheriff’s department hasn’t commented on what sparked the shooting.
