Drug Dealer Convicted in Customer’s Overdose Death

39-year-old Jimmy Mat­ney of Defi­ance died from a heroin over­dose on Dec. 27, 2013. Now, the man who sold him the drugs has been con­victed for Matney’s death. 32-year-old Robert R. Kramer was found guilty of invol­un­tary manslaugh­ter fol­low­ing a three-day trial in Defi­ance County Com­mon Pleas Court. Sen­tenc­ing is set for June 9. Kramer could face up to 11 years in prison.
