Edgerton Schools Backs Away From Levy

Edgerton school officials removed the district from consideration of a measure that would have asked voters to consider a five-year levy. They say it would generate $500,000 for each district across the four-county area, to fund special education and security measures….adding such a measure would be decided by a simple majority vote across all participating districts, rather than by individual ones, which is the basis for Edgerton’s decision.
