In Edgerton, a teacher who was accused of having an inappropriate relationship with a Montpelier High School student during the 2014-2015 school year is not going to be prosecuted. According to the district attorney, the teacher was 22, and the student in question was 17 and 18 years old at the time of the relationship, which is above the age of consent in Ohio. The woman did lose her job because of her position as a football referee, but no criminal charges will be filed.
