Edgerton teen killed in crash early Sunday morning.

A 17-year-old from Edgerton was killed in a crash early on Sunday morning in Michigan, and a 16-year-old was severely injured, according to the Michigan State police. The crash happened around 1:30 a.m. on North Main Street in Camden, Michigan in western Hillsdale County near the border with Indiana and Ohio. Edgerton Superintendent Ben Wilhelm confirmed the name of the teenager as junior Levi Hess, who played football, baseball, and wrestled for the school. According to MSP, Hess was driving a pickup truck with a 16-year-old passenger when he lost control of his vehicle. Troopers say the truck went off the road where it struck two parked vehicles in a driveway. Hess was taken to the hospital in Hillsdale where he was pronounced dead. The passenger was flown to a hospital in Ann Arbor with severe but non-life-threatening injuries.
