Edgerton Village Council approves an agreement to upgrade the village’s water treatment plant

The Edgerton Village Council approves an agreement to upgrade the village’s water treatment plant. It comes after the village applied for funds through the State Capital Improvement Program, last year. A combination of grant funds and a low interest loan will be used to cover the repairs and upgrades. The total estimated cost is $681,490 dollars, with Ohio Public Works funds covering an estimated $412,500, officials say. The project will cover a wide variety of interior and exterior upgrades to the water treatment plant, including the brine tank, pressure gauges, two new surface pumps and more.
