Edgerton Voters Will Decide Tax Issue

In Edgerton, voters will choose whether or not to approve an additional three-quarters of one percent income tax, on top of the current one percent income tax which was enacted way back in the 1970s. Public meetings on the ballot issue have been set for Sept. 16, Oct. 7 and Oct. 28, at 7 p.m. each night at the gymnasium in village hall.

Council members are doing an inventory of the town streets to put together a list of paving work needed. Once the review is finished, several streets will be paved as necessary.

Edgerton Council on Monday, also discussed the restrooms being built at Miller Park, and council members learned that the construction is going well.
