The Williams County Board of Election on Monday approved adding an emergency levy renewal for the Stryker Local School District. The levy is a renewal of a previous emergency levy, and is not a new levy or an increase, according to board member Jeff Erb. The five-year, 4.6 mill levy (4.6 cents for every $100 of property valuation) would raise $335,000 for the school district. It would commence this year and first come due in calendar year 2018, according to the ballot language.
