A former Napoleon police officer is sentenced to two years in federal prison. Nicholas Evanoff, pled guilty after officials found child pornography on his computer. Evanoff was also ordered to pay a special assessment of $5,100 and will have five years of post-release control. He had been facing a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison. He was terminated from the Napoleon Police Department in Nov., after the city was notified of the investigation.
