Fatal Crash In WC

The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly solo crash in Williams County. Officials say James Karcher of Edgerton, was driving east on County Road D…when he failed to stop for a stop sign at Ohio 576. They say that’s when his vehicle hits a guardrail before going down an embankment. It came to rest in a yard after hitting a utility pole. Karcher was not wearing a seatbelt. He was flown to Parkview in Fort Wayne. He later died. The investigation into the crash is on at this hour.
