Fatal Ped Involved Accident In Wauseon

A Wauseon woman dies after she is hit by a vehicle while crossing North Shoop Avenue. Doris Waite, 85, was taken to Fulton County Health Center. She succumbed later. The identity of the vehicle’s driver is being withheld. Alcohol is not believed to be a contributing factor in the accident. The investigation into the case continues at this hour by both state and local officials.
