The Indiana State Police is investigating a deadly solo crash on I-69 near the 335 mile marker in DeKalb County…just south of the Waterloo exit. Officials say…the first responders at the scene found the vehicle fully engulfed in flames. A trooper used a fire extinguisher trying to get in the burning wreckage…but couldn’t do it. Then a fire team gets there…they put out the flames…but it was too late for the person inside. The DeKalb County coroner is on the case. They think the car blew a tire…leading to the wreck. The investigation into the crash is on at this hour by both state and local officials.
