Fayette Bull Thistle Festival this weekend.

The 49th annual Fayette Bull Thistle Festival is set for this Saturday, August 2nd at Normal Grove Park, in Fayette. A breakfast has been organized at Our Lady of Mercy Church from 8-10 a.m. The annual Bull Thistle Parade starts at 11 a.m. Events at the park include merchants and craft vendors, pedal tractor pulls, bull thistle judging, inflatable entertainment, a caricature artist, an auction, a raffle, and softball and sand volleyball tournaments. Food vendors will also be on site. Music performances include Lee Warren from noon-3 p.m., Heidi Paxton from 3-5 p.m. and DJ Mayko from 5-10 p.m.
