A Wauseon man was killed and two others injured in a two-vehicle crash Saturday afternoon. The crash occurred around 3:05 p.m. on U.S. 6 in Williams County. According to the Defiance Post of the State Highway Patrol, the driver of one vehicle, 42 year old Wilson Sanchez was pronounced dead at the scene, while the driver of the other vehicle, 46 year old Andrew Wehri, of Edgerton, and his passenger, 45 year old Nicole Wehri, of Edgerton, were seriously injured and taken by Williams County EMS to Parkview Bryan Hospital. A media release from the Patrol stated that Sanchez was operating a vehicle westbound on U.S. 6 when he attempted to pass traffic, striking the eastbound pickup driven by Andrew Wehri head-on.
