Fifth-Third Bank wants to help those who protected America protect their own assets. The bank’s Empower U Community Outreach Campaign is offering classes to local veterans. Classes are free and all materials will be provided. Topics include budgeting and saving, strategies to eliminate debt and preventing identity theft. Cheri Pastula, Fifth-Third’s assistant marketing manager for northwest Ohio says the bank has a strong commitment to local veterans, both in hiring and providing financial resources.
