Final deer-gun hunting numbers are in

The final two days of deer-gun hunt­ing sea­son saw 9,447 white-tailed dear check­ing on Decem­ber 28 and 29th, accord­ing to the Ohio Depart­ment of Nat­ural Resources. The last time Ohio had a year-end deer hunt­ing sea­son was three years ago, and nearly five thou­sand more deer were har­vested then.
Hunters who use muz­zle­load­ers are set for Jan­u­ary 9th through the 12th, then archery sea­son remains open through Feb­ru­ary 7th.
