The Angola Fire Department was dispatched to the Lake James Golf Course just after 9 p.m. Sunday night in reference to a report of a building fire. Angola Fire Department Public Information Officer T.R. Hagerty said that first units on the scene found a 40X50 pole barn with heavy black smoke coming from it. Hagerty said fire crews were able to control the blaze in roughly 12 minutes. Reports indicated that the barn is used for storage of. Damages are estimated at $200-thousand dollars, and include damage to 17 Golf Carts, mowers, tractors and fertilizer.
