Fire Destroys Pickup

Fire destroys a pickup truck at a County Road E.75 location. The owner is getting ready for bed…suddenly…someone is beating on his front door. It’s the neighbor…and over his shoulder…the owner’s truck…in flames…in the driveway. Investigators on the fire team think the blaze started in the cab. The heat then blew out the windows…spreading the flames to the engine compartment. By the time the fire team gets there…there wasn’t much left of the pickup. No one is hurt. State and local officials continue looking into the case, at this hour.
