Fire in Columbus Grove

Fire crews were called to the scene of a Columbus Grove house fire around 5 Thursday morning.

According to a release from the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office, fire crews were called to 07736 County Road P after a 911 call reporting the house fire. Heavy smoke was reported coming from the upstairs of the two-story home, but all occupants were able to escape the home safely.

The cause of the blaze remains under investigation and so far, there is no damage estimate available.
