Fire in vacant home causes $10,000 damage

A vacant home that caught on fire has drawn the attention of the Defiance Police Department and the County Sheriff’s office. A fire in the 100 block of E. High Street at a home owned by Don Wright caused about $10,000 damage. The cause is undetermined and still be investigated.
