Why a Crestwood Dr. garage caught fire

An update on the Crestwood Dr. fire from the Defiance Fire Department. The home is owned by Rebecca Sullivan, and the fire caused about $60,000 damage, beginning in the attached garage. According to the fire department, the blaze was sparked by a welder being used too close to a gasoline source in the garage. The four-wheeler and another vehicle in the garage were destroyed. The kitchen of the home was damaged, along with smoke and water damage throughout the rest of the dwelling.
