Foghat To Kick Off Defiance Fair

Some major enter­tain­ment is lined up for the Defi­ance County Fair in Hicksville. An open­ing day per­for­mance by leg­endary rock band Foghat will kick things off this year. You might remem­ber their hit… “Slow Ride“

Admis­sion to the 137th Defi­ance County Fair is $5 for adults and $3 for chil­dren ages 9–18 at the gate. Sea­son passes are $15 for adults and $8 for chil­dren.

The fair opens this Sat­ur­day, and runs through next Sat­ur­day, August 23rd.

Foghat will per­form Sat­ur­day night at 8. Tick­ets are $20 for track-side reserved seats and $12 for grand­stand seat­ing, and are avail­able online at www.defiancefair.com/ticket/foghat or at Alliance Tax Ser­vice in Hicksville.

Other events for the entire fam­ily will take place all week, and the fair will end with the demo­li­tion derby at 6 p.m on Sat­ur­day, August 23rd.
