Fulton Turnpike Crash Reported

The Ohio High­way Patrol is inves­ti­gat­ing a crash that hap­pened Fri­day after­noon on the Ohio Turn­pike in Ful­ton County.

Police say it hap­pened just before 3:30 Fri­day after­noon when a con­ver­sion van dri­ven by 49 year old Rosa Bar­rios of Illi­nois went out of con­trol, ran off the right side of the high­way, flipped over, and then went in a ditch.

Three pas­sen­gers were taken by air ambu­lance with seri­ous and crit­i­cal injuries.

The dri­ver and one other pas­sen­ger were taken by EMS to the Ful­ton County Health Cen­ter in Wauseon, with non-life threat­en­ing injuries.

Accord­ing to the High­way Patrol, alco­hol is not sus­pected to be a fac­tor and the crash remains under investigation.
