Funeral services set for Miriam Hedges

We got new details about a crash that killed an elderly Defiance woman on Saturday evening. 86-year-old Miriam Hedges failed to yield to a truck driven by Michael Stumbo and was killed on Ohio 15 at Watson Road. Troopers now say alcohol was not a factor. Visitation is Wednesday at the Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima from 2 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at Westside United Methodist Church in Lima.
