Garcia Faces Charges

A Defiance man is charged with a sex offense, following an incident at Defiance High School. Officials say Solomon Garcia, faces sexual battery, a third-degree felony. Garcia was arrested and taken to the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio. He was employed by T.A.C.K.L.E., a non-profit social service agency, and assigned to the school. The charge is a result of an inappropriate relationship with a student. A preliminary hearing for Garcia is set for Wednesday.
