It’s flu season. The Williams County Health Department says get vaccinated. Contrary to popular belief, the flu vaccine cannot give you the flu. After getting the vaccine, your body works hard to build up protection against the flu virus. Most people who receive the vaccine go on with their day, but because your body is working, some may feel tired, have a low-grade fever or get a headache. This does not last long and is minor. They say get your flu shot before the end of October for the best protection.
