GM electrician dies in Defiance

The employee who was killed Tuesday at the General Motors Powertrain plant in Defiance has been identified. 50-year-old Terry Bodenbender fell about 25 feet from an overhead crane to a pit below about 1 p.m. The electrician from Defiance was pronounced dead at the scene. OSHA will conduct an investigation to determine if any safety rules or regulations were broken. The funeral will be held on Saturday in Defiance at Schaffer funeral home at 11 AM.
